What is EI?

Employment Insurance which provides financial assistance to unemployed Canadians.

Am I eligible for EI?

You may qualify to receive EI if you:

• have recently lest your employment through no fault of your own
• have been without work and without pay for at least seven (7) consecutive days in the past 52 weeks
• are ready, willing, and capable of working each day
